I fell in a summer school daydream again.
I was home, daylight on the move.
Drawn into imagining old friends again, in the halls,
It’s like I become the walls they pass by.

All things aside, I wonder why I change my mind sometimes.
At first I held my tongue, then I buried both of us with time and words.

I walked down to the stadium, there was nobody there.
I ambled on the yard lines, though I thought I wouldn't care
for faith to ask for answers, even if they don’t seem fair.
I know time has told good reason,
I have reasoned my way there once before.

All else aside, I wonder why I change my mind sometimes.
